MAISONNEUVE CITERNE announces the launch of a tank for milk collection equipped with a silent electrical pumping technology: The MILKTANKER.

Milk collection can be done at any time of the day or night. However, the noise generated by traditional pumping systems prohibits collection over time slots in certain geographical areas.
MAISONNEUVE CITERNE R & D teams have developed a food tank equipped with a silent pumping system to meet this constraint: the MILKTANKER

The MILKTANKER offers optimal technical features of a tank for collecting milk: length of 10.2 m, volume of 29 500 l and weight of 7.0 t. It is equipped with the well-known MAISONNEUVE insulation system. It is equipped with an electric pumping system
(E-DIGIMILK), powered by a lithium-ion battery that reloads when the vehicle is driven and allowing a silent collection at any time of the day or night.

The MILKTANKER, equipped with the E-DIGIMILK, does not require a tractor equipped with a hydraulic pump to perform the pumping operations. It is fully interoperable with any other semi-trailer, making fleet management of diversified carriers much easier. It is also environmentally friendly; the pumping is carried out without CO2 emission and the absence of hydraulic unit prevents leakage or oozing of oil.

The trunk of the MILKTANKER has also been reworked: reducing its width and depth, the risk of clashes during manoeuvres are significantly reduced.

The production of the MILKTANKER is already industrialized; the vehicle is available on order.
